We believe privacy pages should explain what actually happens in plain language.

If you subscribe to Coffee & Christianity, we store your email address along with basic subscription information, such as when you subscribed, confirmed your address, or unsubscribed.

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you Coffee & Christianity devotionals and the messages necessary to manage that subscription, such as your confirmation email.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address for advertising purposes. We do not use your subscription information to build an advertising profile about you.

Every devotional email includes an unsubscribe link. You do not need an account or password to use it. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending devotional emails. We may retain a record that the address was unsubscribed so that it is not accidentally added back to the mailing list.

Email delivery

Our email is delivered through Resend.

When we send an email, Resend processes the information necessary to deliver that message, including your email address and technical information associated with email delivery.

We may also receive delivery information from Resend, such as whether an email was successfully delivered, bounced, failed, or was reported as spam. We use this information to maintain the mailing list and avoid continuing to send messages to addresses that cannot or should not receive them.

Website data

Coffee & Christianity is not built around advertising or behavioral tracking.

We do not use your reading activity to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information about how you use the site.

The website may use essential cookies or similar browser storage when necessary for basic site functionality and security, including protecting forms and maintaining secure sessions. These are not used for advertising.

If we add analytics or other services in the future that materially change what information is collected, we will update this page to explain it.

Images and storage

Images used on Coffee & Christianity are stored and delivered using Cloudflare R2.

Our application data, including subscriber records, is stored in our database and is accessible only as necessary to operate the site.

Removing your information

If you no longer want to receive Coffee & Christianity emails, you can use the unsubscribe link included in any devotional email.

If you would like us to completely remove the personal information we have associated with your subscription, contact us and we will take care of it.

Our goal is simple: collect as little information as we reasonably need, use it only for the purposes you expect, and make it easy for you to leave whenever you choose.
